Set within an 1840s Alabama estate, Japonica Path was created for celebrations rooted in beauty, hospitality, and intention. From full wedding weekends and rehearsal dinners to bridal showers, intimate dinners, milestone celebrations, and candlelit receptions, every gathering is designed to feel personal and thoughtfully hosted. The Estate
Rooted in nearly two centuries of history, Japonica Path is an 1840s Southern estate lovingly restored by our family over the years as both a home and a place for gathering. Together with our daughters, we have carefully brought new life to the estate while preserving the timeless beauty and character that make it so distinct. Today, Japonica Path offers expansive gardens beneath towering oaks, onsite accommodations within the mansion, collected antiques and layered spaces filled with warmth and history, and an atmosphere designed for celebrations that feel intimate, elegant, and beautifully unhurried.
